Y and I spent several hours this weekend going through our stuff and deciding what stays and what goes. Thanks goodness that we’re so cheap! We don’t have a lot of stuff. We’re flipping trough IKEA catalogs getting ideas for the new place. We’re arranging furniture in our head and making lots of plans for good time in Tel Aviv.
Here are some pictures of our new apartment in Tel Aviv. They might not look like much (all white) but it’s a great blank canvas!
This is the main living room. In the foreground space will have a dining table then the living room furniture. We haven’t yet decided what to do with the balcony.
This is a picture of the larger bedroom and the hallway leading to the second bedroom. Even though this apartment is smaller than the one we have in Jerusalem, there’s a lot more storage space. Between the two bedrooms is the bathroom and toilet room. Yes, two separate rooms for separate functions.
Here’s a shot of the bathroom. To the right and out of the picture is the tub/shower.

i would put some comfy furniture ( day bed, many cushins, ) into the veranda / porch to make it a place to hang-out, relax, read, drink a good tea, hear music-place .

Your apartment is the best. You did SO good!! And seeing it in person was a whole different ballpark. It’s so fabulous…shoe racks and storage out the wa-zoo.
Can’t wait for us to be neighbors. Seriously. I keep saying it but I’m serious…we will have lots of fun. Coffee dates and laptops. Tel Aviv is our playground!
