Dear Barbra,
I hope that you enjoyed my last letter and that you’re really giving some thought to coming for a visit to Israel. From the comments on that post, you’ve got lots of fans here (at least 3) - even one bus driver! There are so many wonderful reasons for people to come here! However, I am aware that some people think that Israelis are rough and pushy - maybe even rude. I haven’t seen that to be the case. There are some definite cultural differences but I think that you’re very capable of getting by in Israel.
You’ve always been one to speak your mind and aren’t afraid to stand up for yourself. This is important in Israel - because here the squeaky wheel that pushes its way to the front of the line usually gets served first and with a discount to boot!
Recently proved you have the right attitude when you set a concert goer straight who had the chutzpa to heckle you during a performance. I found a clip of it on YouTube:
Barbra, with a mouth like that, you’ll do swimmingly in Israel! I’m looking forward to your visit.
Your biggest fan in Israel (probably),
John
