Gotta tell ya that I am loving Tel Aviv. The move from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv has been great - duck to water great! One thing that’s not so great about Tel Aviv though is driving and parking. It’s a pain in the butt. I’m from rural NC; parallel parking is something Yankees in big cities do. There’s hope though - the self parking car! Now they just need to come up with a car that does the Israeli park-on-half-the-sidewalk trick and I’ll be set.

It’s funny, I failed parallel parking on my driving test (in the US) but living here all these years has made me really good at it! I used to avoid it like the plague, but now it’s like “Yeah, no problem!”
