For those of you single people in Israel that are looking for love on JDate or whatever, I’ve got news for you! The best way to meet Israeli women is to…move. That’s right, pack up and move! I was amazed at the number of young, attractive women (fewer men) that called and showed up to see my old apartment in Jerusalem.
Moreover, when they come to see your apartment, they almost never come alone. Single girls usually came with at least one friend for an objective opinion and support. PLUS you get their phone numbers willingly as they sign up to live in your old place!
Ok, so maybe it’s not the most scrupulous way of meeting women, but hey, you can always go back to the shadchan…

Actually, I have a few friends who met their partners this way. Some of them ended up moving in together, too.

sorry if i am an inconvenience to you. but i might be going to kuwait for the us navy soon and if this happens i must visit israel while i will be so close. my question is i wish to make some friends before i go so i can enjoy the beautiful country of israel and the jewish culture. i am not a jew but i do support your country and way of life. even to the death if need be. sorry to be so forward on that last sentence. but it is what i believe. thank you for the trouble.

Good luck on your deployment. Try Jdate as this site doesn’t look too active. I imagine if all else fails the best way is just to get on a flight and go. I’m sure you will have a blast!
