Other Israel bloggers have commented on the Tel Aviv take on the Free Hugs campaign/movement/events. A couple of weeks ago after a long day of work, I got my first free hug in Kikar Rabin. I decided then that they really aren’t free. You have to give one to get one. It’s a cool thing to do and feels great too. I smiled all the way home.

You mean you have to give one to get one. But that’s still free. And I proposed that idea at work when I was working in Tel Aviv and nobody liked it.
