The movers are coming next weekend. I am trying not to wait to the last minute to pack. We really don’t have a lot of stuff. Each thing I pick up is getting reviewed. I am asking myself, “Do I really need or want this? Will I use it again? When did I use it last?” I feel like I am on some kind of HGTV show. If the item makes the cut it’s dusted, sorted, and maybe boxed. I am getting the feeling that Thursday night that I’ll be throwing things in boxes. UGH! I hate moving.

Another question I should have asked more forcefully: does this thing earn its keep even when I don’t use it? In real estate rental cost per square inch, dusting and other maintenance, making bumps on my interior skyline?

“We really don’t have a lot of stuff.”
In the English language, double-negatives are said to yield a positive. Yet, there is no such rule for double-positives.
“Yeah. Right.”
